Printing Section

Greg Covington

Greg joined the Secretariat in 1987 as Assistant Production Manager. Prior to this, he was an apprentice at a local newspaper in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

Greg studied printing technology at the London College of Printing. He has worked with early forms of printing using hot metal to more modern computer generated printing processes.

 

Graham Fordham

As the Printing Officer Graham is responsible for the Secretariats internal printing and finishing.  He also oversees the printing of publications to high commissions and various governmental ministries and organisations. Graham has worked at the Secretariat for 33 years and is responsible for printing supplies.


 

Garry Skehens

Garry is employed as a Printer in the Printing section at the Commonwealth Secretariat. His main duty is operating printing and finishing machinery. Additionally, he is responsible for stock control, machine times, costing jobs, visa pictures, Secretariat passes, ordering business cards and invoicing. He has been with the organisation for 24 years.


 

Alan Smith

Alan has been in the Commonwealth Secretariat printing department since 1988 and has worked in the printing industry since 1970.  He operates high volume copiers and does book and plastic comb binding of Secretariat material.
