Papua New Guinea is a member of the United Nations (UN); the International Monetary Fund (IMF); the World Bank; the Asian Development Bank (ADB); the World Trade Organization (WTO); the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC); the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF); the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP); the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM); the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC); and the Melanesian Spearhead Group.
