International relations

New Zealand is a member of all the major multilateral organisations, including the United Nations (UN), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the Antarctic Treaty system. The country is also a member of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC), the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) and the New Agenda Coalition on nuclear disarmament issues.
