International relations

Nauru is a member of the United Nations (UN); the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP); and the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF), for which it hosted the annual Forum Leaders Meeting in 1993 and again in 2001. Nauru is also a member of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) and is active in the South Pacific Applied Geoscience Commission (SOPAC).
